Approve, reject, and snooze
What each action means and when to use each.
Every pending task in the inbox can be approved, rejected, or snoozed.
Approve
Approving a task executes the proposed action immediately. The task status changes to approved and the action is logged in the audit trail.
Use approve when the proposed action is correct and timely. For example:
- The automation proposed drafting outreach for a high-scoring prospect and the timing is right.
- The automation proposed advancing a deal to the next stage and you agree.
Reject
Rejecting a task does nothing. No action is taken. The task status changes to rejected. Rejections are logged in the audit trail with who rejected it and when.
Use reject when:
- The proposed action is wrong for this specific client (but the automation is correct in general).
- The timing is wrong and you want a clean record that you explicitly decided not to act.
Rejecting a task does not disable the automation. The automation will still fire for future events.
Snooze
Snoozing defers the task. You select a snooze duration (1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 3 days, or 1 week) and the task disappears from the active inbox, reappearing when the snooze period expires.
Use snooze when:
- The action is probably correct but the timing is off (for example, the prospect is in a buying freeze this week).
- You want to review the task later with more context.
When a snoozed task reappears, it is treated as a fresh pending task.
Acting on tasks
To act on a single task, use the buttons on the task row or open the task detail and act from there.
For bulk actions, select multiple tasks using the checkboxes and use the bulk action bar at the top of the inbox.
