Set up your passkey and access your workspace.
Client Path uses passkeys as the primary authentication method. Passkeys are stored in your device's secure enclave (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a hardware key), with no password to forget or leak.
First sign-in
- Go to the sign-in page at
/sign-in. - Enter your email address and click Continue.
- If your account was pre-created by your workspace admin, you will be prompted to register a passkey on your device.
- Follow your browser or OS prompt to create the passkey. On most devices this is a fingerprint scan or Face ID confirmation.
- You are signed in. You will be taken to your workspace home.
Subsequent sign-ins
On a device where you have already registered a passkey:
- Go to
/sign-in. - Enter your email and click Continue.
- Your device shows the passkey prompt automatically.
- Confirm with biometrics or your hardware key.
Registering a passkey on a new device
When you sign in on a device that has no passkey for your account yet, you can register one after verifying your identity via a magic link:
- On the sign-in page, click Send a magic link instead.
- Open the link from your email. It is valid for 10 minutes.
- Once signed in, go to your account settings and select Register passkey on this device.
Magic-link recovery
If you cannot access any registered device (for example, you replaced your phone), use the magic-link flow:
- Click Send a magic link instead on the sign-in page.
- Check your inbox and open the link within 10 minutes.
- From account settings, register a passkey on your new device and optionally remove the old one.
Workspace access
Each workspace (tenant) is a separate context. If you belong to more than one workspace, you are asked to select one after signing in.
If you are not yet a member of a workspace, ask your workspace admin to invite you from Settings > Team members.
Troubleshooting
"No passkey found for this device": your passkey is device-specific. Use the magic-link flow to sign in on a new device, then register a passkey.
"Magic link expired": links expire after 10 minutes. Request a new one.
Passkey prompt does not appear: your browser may need updating, or your device may not support WebAuthn. Try a different browser or device.
